Wadhwan is a city and a municipality in Surendranagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat.
As of 2001 India census, Wadhwancity had a population of 61,739. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. During the British Raj, Wadhwan State was one of several princely states governed by the Jhalas. Mori Rajputs of Chittor had settled in Wadhwancity. It was classified as a 9-gun salute state.
